Gaper's Block, a Chicago blog, has good coverage of it &lt;a href="http://gapersblock.com/transmission/archives/2007/05/03/the_plight_of_internet_radio_or_the_loudest_silence_youve_ever_heard/" rel="nofollow"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;. Why the heck not pick a reasonable rate for a reasonable quality (somewhat lo-fi) of recording and agree to expand the audience?
