  • From a tried-and-true Zep Hed, this version of this song kicks ass.
  • The Encomium album really was not good. The Rasta version of Zep was at least funny.
  • Mike:

    Agreed.

Dan: Agreed and agreed. Dread Zeppelin was hilarious: A reggae Zeppelin cover band with an Elvis impersonator at the controls.

I heard that Plant liked them. After all, he was actually somewhat of an Elvis fan himself.
  • Your daughter was right to stand her ground. This is tremendous!
  • Plant once said that he preferred Dread Zeppelin's version of Your Time Is Gonna Come to the original, and I have to agree with him. DZ's version of Kashmir was also pretty good -- I think that was the one that involved an alien kidnapping the singer halfway through.

I hadn't heard Gilbert's take on the song before, but I like it.
  • I don't agree that the original sucks. But, this was a damn good cover. Thanks for sharing it.
  • I don't think the original sucks either. I was saying when my kids first heard it when held against this remake (which they heard first) they thought it did.
  • I have listened to Mark and Brian in LA since 88 and remember Kevin coming in and playing it. Its a great find and I hope to get a copy in my hands someday. Thanks for sharing it.
  • Denise - e-mail me and I'll see if I can hook you up.
