I haven't heard this yet. I'd love to see them live; they sounded great on Letterman when they were promoting this record.

I love Hate It Here. Reminds me of Steely Dan.

I saw them recently and they played a bunch of these songs and they sounded even better live. Nels Cline is a great addition to the band.

I've heard bits and pieces on internet radio and have been impressed. I'm probably less concerned with how the album fits within the narrative of their careers, but the songs I've heard have the paradoxical effect on me of sounding both new and completely familiar at the same time.
