  • Other great strips are Krzy Kat & Little Nemo In Slumberland.
  • I'm a big Gasoline Alley fan too - I've always enjoyed the large ensemble cast. I agree, it's gone off the tracks. Uncle Walt is about 110 and Skeezix should be around 90, but they soldier on. The latest storyline about Walt's memory loss and dotage is painful. And the old gang from around the garage has long disappeared, which was a big part of the attaction. Still, it remains a classic.
  • Walt and Skeezix are both still alive???
  • I was equally shocked that the strip still exists. For me, those experimental sunday pages from the late 20s/early 30s, some of which show up in the Williams Smithsonian book, remain as stunning as Cliff Sterrett's POLLY AND HER PALS sundays and Herbert Paus' illustrations--visual ideas so completely ahead of their time that they seem to have come from an alien source.
  • Holy Cow, it's still going? I wonder how many readers it gets?
  • was there a charecter named zeke in this cartoon??and if there is which one??my dad named our new dog zeke and i had no idea how he came up with it.please reply!!
  • nice, they're very inspiring.. imagine adopting a child, and loving the it like a true child.. Those kind of books are for children
