  • Good post. I remember when her second album came out and my Dad and I discussed how we were disappointed with it. It just lacked something of the spark of the first. I heard her do a set on Morning Becomes Eclectic on Monday. I was sadly underwhelmed.

    Levitin's book sounds fascinating. Thanks for the tip!
  • She needs her Nelson Eddy, and Los Angeles.
  • NJ's music is inspiring in so many ways and as a musician I think of her as one of the riverkeepers who will ensure that there is an American musical tradition after our culture tires of the Britneys.
    And all that without mentioning that she's as hot as a penny on a summer sidewalk.
