She is a total genius.

Re: Lost Lust

Well, after punishing ABC for The Path to 9/11 for a season, and finding that it made not one whit of difference, I'm back with Lost. I watched what I guess was the Annotated Final Episode from Last Season last night and found that I'd missed almost nothing being away. Aside from not being sure who Juliet and Naomi are, I'm ready to roll.

Love the idea of Lost translated into LOLCatspeak. You guys did a great job. Funny as hell.

Re: Lost Lust

I love this show so much -- I'd rather lose a toe than lose the next 48 episodes of Lost.

What are everyone's favorite sites for post-Lost debriefing? I'm a fan of the TWOP forum for analysis, but usually need to look elsewhere for screencaps/video/creepy-ass reversed audio . . . http://thelostcommunity.blogspot.com/ can be good.

Re: Lost Lust

And then Liss was like "post about Lost" and I was all ";khlskhkshglkjljlkhlkh."

Re: Lost Lust

But I bet, when the show winds down in 2010, that’ll be part of the Big Reveal.

You and me both. I can't even tell you how much time Mr. M and I have spent dissecting the characters and their relationships to the various philosophers' whose names have popped up.

Sometimes I think, though, that it's all 'coincidence,' and won't be part of the Big Reveal, and that makes me laugh -- just because I know how furious a lot of Losties will be about the fake bread crumbs.

But I likesy the fake bread crumbs!

Re: Lost Lust

Oh, and...

Do Not Click This Link if you are a Lost fan and want to get anything done for the rest of the goddamned day.

Re: Lost Lust

A-an' I'm all Wazzup with all the characters bein' named after Renaissance PhiLOSTophers? At first I thought it was a fluke, 'cos there were just Locke and Rousseau, but then along comes that Scottish guy Hume, whose full name, it turns out later, is Desmond David Hume an' I'm all up with the forehead-slapping and the hooting. Oh, and Juliet's ex-husband, who's onscreen for three seconds demonstrating what an asshole he is? Edmund Burke is all....

Funny part is, although Rousseau is a definite Noble Savage, Locke doesn't think or act as a Lockean would. He's all with the Faith and the Belief, while the "real" Locke was a rationalist, as was the "real" David Hume. So I gave up trying to interpret the whole Lost enchilada as a "mere" allegory of the Enlightenment.

But I bet, when the show winds down in 2010, that'll be part of the Big Reveal.
