Yeah!!!

@classical music: Have you tried listening to classical rock yet? Soothing rhythm and melodies with various lyrics about broken hearts, angst, hatred and other deep emotions. Try it, hopefully you'll love it!

Re: Little Steven’s Rock and Roll Radio

Music is one of the best things you can use for relaxation, Rock music is good to hear for some time but classical music is the best for me. Their music, though mostly lively beats are the perfect bedroom music to turn my hubby on and get him in the mood for a kinky make out session.

Re: Little Steven’s Rock and Roll Radio

You Rock Radio is a platform that uses the Internet to deliver high quality radio and video programming. Everything from "The Roaring Twenties" to "GoodFellas". Steven's just a brilliant DJ.

Re: Little Steven’s Rock and Roll Radio

I listen to his show online every week. Not only is his music taste pitch perfect and his breath of knowledge immense but he is an amazing DJ in the traditional sense-- he weaves a narrative through the show connecting seemingly disparate aspects of culture and politics and anecdotes from rock history. He tells great stories through this show.

And its got a good beat and you can dance to it.

Re: Little Steven’s Rock and Roll Radio

Ralph, you have excellent taste. I must say that I was surprised to see the Pretty Things singles cover featured in your post. I must point out that the two most neglected gems of the late 60s era are The Pretty Things' "S.F. Sorrow" (the first true rock opera -- pre-dating the Kink's "Arthur" and the Who's "Tommy") along with "Parachute". The Pretty Things just slipped through the singles cracks and never really made it big -- but man, are they worth the listen.

Re: Little Steven’s Rock and Roll Radio

Thank you for the tip, Marcus, I'll check out Radio Paradise just as soon as I finish listening to the Little Steven show I'm listening to right now.

As a present for you, here is a clip of the very fabulous Helen Shapiro singing to at least three of the Fab Four:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEtdnex1M-A

Re: Little Steven’s Rock and Roll Radio

Thanks Dan, real cool site.

I highly recommend radioparidise.com for very fine eclectic radio.
