  • though i so admired your bravery on the hillary front, i'm very sorry to tell you you don't have a proper libido. don draper is about sex, pure and simple, and the horrible after effects of following your dick. he is the sexiest english-speaking animal i've encountered in a long time. i guess being gay helps. perhaps you should try being gay or talking more deeply with your female friends (but not hillary!) and you will come to understand it. betty is compelling because she's insane. i guess you have to be a little crazy to appreciate that as well.

  • Haunted by an absurdity of last night's episode, I came here to see if it struck anyone at this club.
    Given the way Don left Bobbie last week, would he really have showed up at this part with Betty in tow for crying out loud, and would the Don-Bobbie greeting have played as it did?!
    Tom, I actually feel compassion for Don and Betty. They both just seem deeply lost to themselves.
    Reynolds, I think Don is about addiction to secrets and a war between not being known versus being known. The sex strikes me as a subset of that.
