Absolutely the finest TV sf series since "Farscape" ended, and Tennant is the best Doctor - fans of the show should also check out "Torchwood" - the spin-off starring Captain Jack. There is also another spin-off coming next year featuring old favorite character Mary Jane [assistant to one of the past Doctors] in her grown up role as an investigator. Additionally. a second series of Torchwood is coming - which will apparently feature a return of Rose Tyler!!

The current series can be seen on BBC America as well as the Sci-Fi channel, and individual episodes are available on line at all the usual Bittorrent sites. I'm one of those who has been eagerly awaiting each new episode and getting it that way [BT]. Hopefully, we can get DVDs soon!

This show makes me feel like a 12-year old again, in all the best possible ways!

Tennant is so marvelous as the Doctor.

Jason, check your PBS stations. Several around the country have been playing the Chris Eccleston season. He's also great, but it's hard to beat Tennant. I assume they'll play his eps as well. SciFi should be starting Tennant's third season soon.

Steve, I'd love to see more of this show. I stumbled on an episode on, I believe, BBC America one night a few months back and I thought it was fabulous. Could never get w/ the high camp original. But this was good stuff, although I knew I was in sci-fi geek territory when my wife and daughter made fun of me for watching it!
