Sounds wonderful Steve - my youngest is now almost 9, and on the very outer edge of being read to anymore. He likes the quiet and solitude of reading long stories now. Which is wonderful.
A Child's Garden of Verses, to me, remains the reference standard for read-aloud.

Hi Steve, Nice to (sort of) meet you! Your post was great and it sounds like a great book. My son's too old for it, I think, and to get him to read anything nowadays is impossible. (Sorry to say) -- But, I do have a niece that this sounds perfect for! And I love surprising her with gifts. So, it's on my list for her. Thanks again!

    Cheers!

I once had a couple of drinkeepoos with Hiaasen back when he was squiring my favorite bar owners' daughter. Funny guy. He dedicated one of his tomes to the girl, but, it appears, married someone else. He remains my favorite S. Florida writer (and there are many).

I guess the whole idea is to promote your website using social tools like hi5 or twitter. I happen to have a website with cheap designer clothes and I could use the benefits of getting in touch with my potential clients of course using Hi5, Twitter, Facebook etc. I guess traditional Marketing didn't foresaw the immense benefits of web 2.0 hehe
